Cartamundi Electro Mechanical Technician 2nd Shift in Erlanger, Kentucky

The Electro Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the support of production operations, testing, and maintaining unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.

The 2nd Shift schedule would be Monday-Friday 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM.

What you’ll do as a Electro Mechanical Technician:

  • Possess a continuous desire for learning and improvement pertaining to the Electro Mechanical Position.

  • Demonstrate throughout understanding of USPC operations.

  • Perform all maintenance functions, including electro-mechanical functions, in both team environments and individually.

  • Demonstrate and perform electro mechanical operations for USPC.

  • Take an electronics course from an accredited university. (Preferably a mega-tronics course.)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of programming USPC equipment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with PLC, and USPC programs

  • Knowledge of electronic schematics.

We’re looking for a Electro Mechanical Technician with:

  • In-depth knowledge of electronic systems, PLCs, and USPC equipment.

  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley software including RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000

  • Familiarity with Siemens S7 software

  • Ability to use a computerized work order system

  • High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines

  • Ability to work well with team members and leadership team

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Basic computer skills

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

  • Sitting at workstation approximately 20% of work time, standing and walking approximately 80%

  • Lift / push / pull up to 75 pounds.

  • Ability to twist, reach, and bend.

  • Requires ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects.

  • Ability to operate various machine and hand tools.

  • Involves moderate risks or discomforts and special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, pallets, trucks and machines.

  • Ability to wear provided PPE including hearing protection and steel toed shoes

  • This Electrical Mechanical Technician position is located on-site in our Erlanger,Ky facility
