Nestle Technical Product Owner Mobile App in Esplugues Llobregat, Spain

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to be part of our Digital Experiences Tech team.

Nestlé’s Digital Experiences (DX) Tech Product Group designs, develops, integrates and operates the cloud technologies and AI-powered data systems that allow brands like Nespresso, Purina and Nescafé to bring exciting new digital experiences to millions of consumers around the world.

The Digital Experience Technologies Product Group is currently looking for a Mobile App Technical Product Owner.

As a Technical Product Owner you will lead the definition, roadmap, development, and deployment of the technical implementation of Mobile Applications.

You will plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of End-to-End development of different Mobile Apps for brands such as Nespresso, Nescafé Dolce Gusto and/or others. You will ensure their delivery is in accordance with agreed User Experience, APIs, specifications, quality standards, security requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

You will control the development progress versus schedule and budget; also, you will identify and analyze risk management issues and devise plans to minimize risks.

You will liaise with different teams (internal and external) to ensure proper integration of the App with components within the overall Nestlé IT ecosystem. For this reason, it’s important that you build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and communicate effectively.

What you’ll do

  • Together with the Business Product Owner, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Architects, define the Mobile App features, their roadmap, APIs and overall strategy.

  • Liaise with internal customers to understand and address their needs within your platform components roadmap.

  • Lead the development, testing and deployment of the App according to Nestlé development practices.

  • Apply best-in-class Product Management practices, together with Digital Experience Technologies Product Group practices, to guide your App components throughout their whole lifecycle and maximize their reusability and applicability.

  • Manage and track the day-to-day activities of cross-functional platform development teams (internal or external), facilitate their coordination and ensure the adherence to the plans.

  • Provide appropriate technical documentation, roadmaps and strategic directions of your App components, aligned with the overall Nestlé Digital Experiences strategy, processes and practices.

  • Participate in the definition of Product Roadmaps.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years industry experience in software delivery projects and consulting for Business-facing mobile applications, Consumer-facing apps and/or Platform APIs.

  • Demonstrable track record in the delivery of IT/Digital Products such mobile apps, platforms, applications and APIs on Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure or Google.

  • Experience in project and product management, agile methodologies and solution delivery at scale.

  • Strategic and tactical thinking.

  • Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve goals.

  • Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience in working with cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way.
