Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking to hire a Technical Product Owner to join their team on a hybrid basis (1 day/week in the office) in Evanston, IL. This individual will be joining a small product team that is fairly new to this organization. We are looking for this Product Owner to have the ability to rotate around products and help support the Product Managers. They are in the process of rolling out Scaled Agile, so they would like this person to be the champion of SAFe and have demonstrated experience with PI Planning, etc. There are a variety of products that this Product Owner may be supporting including a membership portal (search, login, personalization) and the various applications within that. They will work closely with key stakeholders and Product Managers to understand the organizational goals and priorities and driving roadmaps. The Product Owner will define user stories, prioritize the product backlog, and is able to provide all necessary details for the development team to achieve their sprint goals effectively and efficiently. In this role you'll tackle the challenge of juggling multiple products mastering the technical complexities of products. Your work will have a profound impact, driving participant-focused solutions, leading market innovations, and enhancing product quality. They will report to a Product Manager aligned to a portfolio of products.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner of software products and/or services

• Knowledge of Agile values and principles and strong understanding of SAFe

• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence

• Ability to write and gather requirements, being comfortable with the discovery phase of projects

• Experience working on the front-end but also strong understanding of the back end

• Ability to have strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and accountability - Experience with Adobe Analytics null
