Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support 777/777X Wings - Spar Assembly in Everett, Washington on 2nd shift .

A successful manager in this role will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas.

  • Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners, and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

  • Leads, develops, and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.

  • 1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams.

  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $115,900 - $134,200
