Aerotek Delivery Driver in Everett, Washington
Job Description
Join our team as a Delivery Driver and play a crucial role in delivering products to new home construction sites throughout your assigned region. You'll be responsible for selecting and delivering products in an organized manner, providing exceptional customer service, and explaining delivery details with a positive attitude. Additionally, you'll be tasked with unloading materials, stacking them neatly, accurately completing delivery paperwork, and documenting all work performed. Your day will mainly consist of driving a delivery truck but also includes material pickups and adherence to strict safety policies and procedures.
Hard Skills
2+ years of experience in delivery driving, preferably with a box truck
Experience delivering heavy materials
Ability to handle warehouse duties such as selecting products and managing inventory
Soft Skills
Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Everett, Washington.
Work Environment
The role involves driving a 25-foot box truck, primarily involving long routes, potentially as far north as the Canadian border and as far east as Orondo. The work setting is a warehouse production environment, involving exposure to sawdust or other wood products. The position requires regularly lifting heavy materials, including large doors and bundles of mouldings, weighing up to 100 pounds.
