Aston Carter Manufacturing Master Scheduler in Everett, Washington

(Job Description)

One of very reputable aerospace manufacturing company located in Everett, WA is currently looking for a Master Scheduler. Candidates who are independent, self-starters, and has the drive would be a great culture fit (most important). Required industry experience will be a manufacturing setting, engineering setting (highly engineered products), and/or testing environment. This company produces very complex manufacturing that is High-Mix- Low-Volume (HMLV). They are not producing the same thing over and over again.

(Position Details)

Title – Master Scheduler

Pay – $38/hr. - $53/hr. (all depending on relevant qualifications, industry, and tenure)

Schedule – Rotating Shift with every other Friday off (Rotating 5x8's and 4x9's)

Location – Everett, WA (100% Onsite)

(Responsibilities)

  • Develop and improve tactical plans that establish the overall level of manufacturing production plans.

  • Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain Forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality and sales opportunities.

  • Review and update forecast, production schedules and material requirements.

  • Support new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions, end of life and prototype processing with the potential suppliers.

  • Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing MPS and supply MRP exception messages.

  • Participate in the evaluation of quotations from our contracted manufacturers to assure all pertinent information is available to analyze for best possible price, quality and supply services to meet our strategic needs for the product life.

  • Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Contract Manufacturers, Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed and assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.

  • Responsible for establishing production rates that will achieve management’s objective in satisfying customer demand balanced with optimizing inventory levels and order backlogs.

(Qualifications)

At this time, there will be no relocation package offered and local candidates near Everett, WA will be considered

  • Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Material Requirement Planning, and Forecasting.

  • Experience with Kanban and "Lean Material Handling" is desirable.

  • Experience in Aerospace or other regulatory industry with an electronics focused will be highly considered.

  • Experience with purchasing / materials tools (ERP/MRP, Inventory analysis, part or supplier profiles, etc.).

  • Requiring strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
