Fluke’s Everett Service Center is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee their ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality program. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our laboratory operations are conducted in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, that our quality management system is effective and efficient, and that personnel are informed and competent in the standard. The quality manager organizationally works with the Everett Service Center metrology group and reports the Fluke Global 17025 Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the laboratory's quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to laboratory staff on quality matters.

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the quality management system, and oversee corrective actions as necessary.

  • Provide meaningful contributions to the Fluke Global 17025 group.

  • Ensure that all laboratory equipment and processes are calibrated and maintained in accordance with quality standards.

  • Manage the laboratory's document control system and ensure that all necessary documentation is available and up-to-date.

  • Ensure that the laboratory's proficiency testing and inter-laboratory comparison programs are conducted effectively and on schedule.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies.

  • Train laboratory staff on quality procedures and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

  • Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators.

  • Conduct periodic management reviews of the quality management system to ensure its ongoing effectiveness and improvement.

  • Minimal travel is required only for supporting Fluke laboratories Internal Audit program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or related discipline is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a laboratory environment.

  • Experience with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.

  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools and techniques.

  • Root cause analysis using Problem-Solving methodology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, management and external stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Met/Cal writing is not needed but can be a plus.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $50,400.00 - $93,600.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
