----Job Description---- Volt is immediately hiring for a* System Engineer 3 - Export Compliance in Everett, WA*
Position Type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months Contract with possible extension
Location: Everett, WA - Onsite
As a System Engineer, you will:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assess technical content for applicability of export compliance.
- Works with multiple design teams to understand the technical background of content.
- Audits existing material for accuracy of export control markings.
- Performs the updating of material with the correct export data.
- Audits existing servers against access list to ensure no files violate export compliance.
- Develops a process for ensuring teams properly mark their technical content at its creation.
- Works with a team to develop an automated tool/method for marking compliance and/or auditing server for violations.
Required skills/qualifications:
- General Airplane Design knowledge
- Export compliance
- Microsoft Office
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Python, or similar coding
- Project Management
Pay Range: $70-$75per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
