Position Description:

CGI is looking for a User Experience Designer to help our client modernize their existing automation infrastructure and to build new automation tooling using their Citizen Developer toolset. We need an designer who has experience with Human Centered Design and is able to assist our client in automating their processes in a manner that fits into their processes. Must be able to learn new technologies rapidly in order to best understand how to leverage them for the client.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Create a wide variety of UX Deliverables that visualize a common understanding of user needs, business needs and technical feasibility to define and document the future of the product

• Facilitate meetings with Business Analysts and the Tech Lead to obtain feedback on product direction to apply and align on a solution for the product

• Work across several teams to deliver comprehensive and cross functional designs

• Participate in UX Design community within the portfolio and USCIS

• Work with teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions

• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client’s technical specialists

• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship

• 3+ years designing user interfaces, primarily for internal facing web applications

• 2+ years of experience with Human-Centered Design

• Experience designing interfaces to be 508 compliant

• Experience in User Research, including Discovery, Generative, and Evaluative

• Experience with Adobe XD or Figma

• Experience with HTML and CSS

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Experience with Mural or Axure

• Experience with ServiceNow or Salesforce

• Experience Microsoft Power Apps or Power BI

• Experience with UI Path
