Supervises the daily activities of assigned team in providing rehabilitation services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree or a terminal degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy 2. Current or temporary licensure in the state of West Virginia. Permanent licensure obtained within 90 days of hire. EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Master's Degree in rehabilitation field (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology). EXPERIENCE: 1. Two (2) years in leadership role 2. One (1) year hospital outpatient therapy or rehabilitation hospital experience.

  1. Applies research and proven techniques to examine, diagnose, and then prevent or treat conditions that limit the body's functional abilities specific to therapist's discipline. As much as fifty percent of the job will include direct patient care duties.
  2. Contributes to development and execution of the operational budget, both revenue and expense with the financial analyst, manager and director. Reviews and provides feedback related to monthly statistical information and productivity of staff collected by the financial analyst.
  3. Provides input into budgeting of and purchasing of capital equipment.
  4. Provides feedback and coaching to staff regarding productivity performance.
  5. Assists departmental leadership in the monitoring of patient records to ensure adequate clinical documentation and to maximize the functionality of the EMR. Ensures that clinical documentation meets the needs of outside agencies including those receiving patients as well as third party payers.
  6. Assists with interviews, onboarding of new staff as well as, input for performance reviews,
  7. Assists department leadership in developing and monitoring of outpatient policy, procedures and personnel manuals for compliance, completeness and updating. Monitors safety and operational standards.
