ASRC Federal Holding Company DoD Health Strategy & Policy Analyst in Falls Church, Virginia

Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a DoD Health Strategy & Policy Analyst to support a DHA contract.

Clearance: US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of support for the Defense Health Agency, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD)/ Health Affairs (HA), Health Readiness & Policy Oversight (HRP&O) to include strategic direction development, policy formulation, quality assurance, and research facilitation

  • Conduct research and responses to congressional inquiries regarding to HRP&O related subject areas

  • Facilitate the development, approval and maintenance of HRP&O health policy documentation (e.g., Administrative Instructions (AI))

  • Track the status of health documentation through approval stages and monitor upcoming deadlines.

  • Coordinated reviews and updates received from the Office of General Counsel (OGC) as part of the adjudication process.

  • Draft the necessary package documents in preparation for submission of documents formal coordination through senior leadership approval signatures

  • Review relevant legislative and federal agency documents in support of the development of HRP&O strategy and policy

  • Assist with drafting Policy Memo’s for the Leadership review

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably in a health related field

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a strategy or policy specialist, in a government health related environment

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.

  • Ability to successfully pass a DHA background investigation.
