The Regional Finance Manager for the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions (CMS) business shall help lead Finance Activities across NAM region. The finance manager will partner with the commercial and fulfilment teams in the region to drive profitable growth and work with the finance function on simplification, digitization and other initiatives to drive productivity and execution rigor while ensuring appropriate controllership and compliance with the business policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as business partner with regional General Managers and associated teams to drive initiatives, deliver Sales, SGA, EBIT and past dues targets, including visibility to performance and decision support

  • Responsible for key commercial finance activities including Sales/EBIT forecasting, pipeline of opportunity analytics and related FP&A activities such as operating planning cycle

  • Support the leadership team with underlying analysis of sales trends and order pattern to support accurate forecast communicated to North American regional executive.

  • Provide financial guidance/inputs to the DoA as well as ensure revenue recognition compliance.

  • Monitor the sales force performance, set up commercial targets and control the variable compensation plan

  • Drive profitability through granular analytics around regional ROI, margin by customer and saving opportunities on costs

  • Ensure controllership and consistency of accounting processes across operation.

  • Support Audit requests as required

  • Strive for process simplification and harmonization of financial processes and reporting

  • Support cash initiatives

Education & Experience

Required

  • College/University degree or equivalent required

  • 6 + year experience in operating finance roles - in FP&A/ Commercial /Supply Chain

Preferred

  • Preferred SAP / Tableau experience
