Kennedy Jenks is seeking an ambitious and service-oriented Project Engineer in our Federal Way or Seattle offices with civil and/or environmental water/wastewater experience to work in a hybrid environment. A successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluation and supporting design and construction of conveyance facilities relating to water, wastewater, recycled water, utility infrastructure projects and treatment process improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and analysis; Prepare detailed design, specifications and drawings. Design calculations with support of senior team. Assist the Project Manager where needed. Provide technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams. Write technical reports and maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation. Project management; support projects from conception through construction coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Lead small projects and attend both internal and external meetings where necessary. Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field 4+ years of related water/wastewater engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE Experience relevant software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MictroStation, Civil3D and Microsoft products Knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations Strong technical writing skills Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential. Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $80,000 to $110,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
