AWS is looking for an exceptional AWS Supply Chain Facility Management TIPM with a strong track record of driving facility stand-up and improvement programs within cleared facilities, demonstrated construction, program, and project management experience, comprehensive program security knowledge, and a deep understanding of government security programs, processes, and requirements.

As an AWS Supply Chain Facility Management TIPM at an accredited AWS Supply Chain site you will own the ideation, approval, and execution of multiple new facilty stand ups as well as facility infrastructure and operational upgrades across construction, electrical, mechanical, operational equipment, and security disciplines in support of fast-moving classified operations. You will manage a wide array of projects designed to protect personnel, National Security Information, and critical infrastructure from insider and external threats. You will also be responsible for managing onsite security forces and liaising with our Integrated Facilities Management team. You must obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in an ambiguous environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You must be able to operate independently to manage facility and security projects, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly, THINK BIG and outside the box, and deliver exceptional products.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute strategic business objectives while working with key internal stakeholders to improve global supply chain facilities and operations.

• Create, implement, communicate, and manage facility and security requirements at large, multi-facility MOTOR (Manufacturing Operations, Transportation Operations and Reverse Logistics) sites while providing day-to-day multi-discipline program facility management, safety, and security operations support.

• Proactively identify program and facility requirements and physical security, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the service/maintenance and security of program execution.

• Perform and/or support the operations and maintenance of facility and security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet AWS requirements.

• Matrix manage team members from across all functions to develop process plans. Typical functions include Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Regional DC Teams, Finance, Security, etc.

• Identify, marshal and organize resources to meet required goals.

• Communicate project status updates to various project stakeholders, including team members and executives. Synthesize a multitude of issues into a clear, concise and focused message.

• Must be willing to share on-call rotations in support of alarms, security incidents, critical service outages.

• Always push the leading edge of innovation and excellence and program management practices.

• Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience

  • 3+ years experience utilizing knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)

  • 3+ years experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

Preferred Qualifications
