REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 25 years of age per Vehicle Use policy. * Valid Oregon driver\'s license, adequate transportation, and eligibility to operate GSA vehicles required. This position may include providing transportation for Native and non-Native American clients in Tribally-owned motor vehicles. * Strong event organizing skills or demonstrated success in organizing, strategizing, and following through on organizing events. * Working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher. * Requires the ability to communicate effectively with federal, state, county, and local governments, and the ability to work well with Tribal members, the general public, private landowners, and stakeholder organizations in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner. * Must be willing to complete First Aid/CPR training and Food Handler\'s Card as arranged by the Tribes. * Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English. * This is a Covered position and is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check, which includes fingerprinting. * Must have employment eligibility in the United States. * Maintain appearance standards as outlined in CTCLUSI policies. * Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Associate\'s Degree OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above described duties. * Knowledge of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) practices and experience on how to successfully implement them into the workplace. * Experience working with a Tribal community. * Experience with graphic design software. JOB DUTIES: * Provide administrative support to departmental staff and help to nurture a culture of belonging for all staff and visitors. * Support new departmental staffing onboarding. * Assist Directors with scheduling and meetings/events coordination: schedule and reserve locations/venues; set up, including coordinating IT needs, food purchases, and gifts if appropriate, and communicate to appropriate staff all relevant logistics. * Provide support to Tribal Membership during assigned events and activities. * Assist Directors with other administrative needs for activities involving human resources, finance and compliance, maintenance, IT and communications, legal counsels, reports to the CEO and Tribal Council, and coordinating Tribal Council and Tribal consultations. * Coordinate reviews, contributions, drafts, and document management for projects requiring large documents and/or multiple staff, such as for reviews for regulation and policy, operational plan drafts and updates. * Format, edit, proof-read, and distribute letters and other communications as directed by the Directors. * Assist Directors with grant applications, grant reporting, budget development, expenditures, and contract development. WAGE: 20.52 per hour
