The HR Leader acts as a business partner to the plant leadership team to manage the talent acquisition process, foster engagement, and administer human resource programs for the site.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with functional and operational leaders to develop engagement and workforce development strategies.

  • Ensures consistent application of labor relations practices

  • The site HR Leader interfaces with functional and operational leaders to assess and initiate job requisitions.

  • Partners with functional and operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management review cycle.

  • Develop and administer local training for team member development.

  • Leads recruitment efforts including the review resumes, creating candidate pools, and setting up interviews for job openings at the site.

  • Develops interview guides and manages the selection process.

  • Creates hourly team member job offers and recommendations for exempt job offers.

  • Facilitate pre-employment screenings, new hire paperwork, and onboarding.

  • Ensures consistent application of practices and policies across the site.

  • Develops and administers local site specific and corporate required training.

  • Ensure managers and employees complete development plans and performance appraisals in required timeframe.

  • Address complex and varied questions and concerns by managers and team members.

  • Responsible for investigating team member concerns and recommending solutions

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing team member grievances and disciplinary process

  • Administer the annual merit process.

  • Address questions on compensation and benefits.

  • Conduct monthly reporting and analytics.

  • Other tasks and requirements may be assigned as necessary.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related fields required.

  • Minimum of 4 to 6+ years of HR Generalist experience. Prefer HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with HR Information Systems and Talent Management Systems preferred.

  • Qualified candidates must be action oriented, organized, and able to prioritize important projects and tasks.
