Aerotek Chemical Process Operator in FOREST GROVE, Oregon

Job Title: Process Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Process Operator and take on key responsibilities within the production department. You will be running machinery for chemical processing that is utilized in many different industries. Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, effectively communicate with other shifts, and maintain precise records of production variables. You will also participate in troubleshooting, assist in basic maintenance schedules, and ensure all activities comply with company policies.

Hard Skills

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Experience in production environment

  • Machine operation

  • Experience with chemical manufacturing

  • Ability to monitor and record production variables

  • Knowledge of process control computer interfaces

  • Ability to perform quality control checks

Schedule

  • This is a rotating 12 hour shift. You will work 3 on 4 off then next week 4 on 3 off. Days rotate every week so you will work every other weekend.

  • 12pm - 12am

Work Environment

The role is based in a chemical processing facility, which is very clean and well-maintained. The facility operates with high safety standards and regulations for handling chemicals, encompassing various chemical systems.
