The Red Gate Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). As the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Finance Manager for the DTRA Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Directorate, you will play a critical role in managing finances aimed at preventing the proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and eliminating chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily and strategic financial management for the CTR Directorate.

  • Utilize ADVANA for data extraction and report creation.

  • Track and manage O&M funding obligations and de-obligations.

  • Assess budget transactions for risk and realism.

  • Update financial charts, funding profiles, and the CTR FM SharePoint site.

  • Analyze financial data by program and manage contract burn and expenditure rates.

  • Review and validate financial information for business meetings and high-visibility reports.

  • Develop and lead finance briefings for senior leadership.

  • Suggest improvements to financial operations and support annual spend plan processes.

  • Address budget-related RFIs/RFPs and conduct custom data pulls for contract obligations.

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Active Secret Clearance 

  • 3+ years of related experience 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of finance and budget. 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. 

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct briefings for senior leaders. 

  • Demonstrated ability to write for senior leaders. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently. 

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work on-site at DTRA/DLA/Fort Belvoir up to 5 days a week.
