Systems Administrator Senior ( VDI ) – TS/SCI Required

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR ( VDI ) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide administration, monitoring and update current and new virtual infrastructure systems, support critical system patches, respond to incidents, and schedule activities
Supports Senior VDI System Administrator(s) and on Virtual infrastructures tasks, to include virtual networking, virtual systems, zero trust, virtual capabilities, Microsoft technologies to include FsLogix, Active Directory Services, DHCP, DNS, GPO management, while providing overall Tier 2/3 support.
Work in a VMware vCenter, vSphere, Hyper-V, and Horizon View environment supporting both virtual servers and desktops (VDI) which include Dynamic environment manager, NSX, VRealize, VMware Cloud, and site recovery manager.
Configure and maintain virtual pools, pods, and all virtual desktop components within VMware horizon and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG’s) as required
Develops functional requirements through interaction with end-users and coordinates with support teams on systematic enhancements or changes
Monitor, organize and work collaboratively with Network Operations, Cyber Security and other Teams to optimize and collaborate solutions
Learn, mentor, and train junior personnel as needed
Manage incident tickets and provide status updates on each ticket per the Service Level Agreement
Provide system and application diagnoses to remediate issues while engaging other teams as needed Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of VMware Horizon View, VMware vCenter, VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Microsoft remote desktop system, Azure Virtual Desktop, and other virtual technologies
Possesses knowledge of security policies and general vulnerabilities management in relation to virtualization
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
*Education: * Associate degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor degree with 5 years of experience
Required Skillset:
Ability to provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Be able to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI; Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
Required Certification(s):
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
Computing Env: Computing Env: MSCA 2016, Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date.)

The likely salary range for this position is $43,888 - $50,045. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
