Position Summary

Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Military Planner supporting the Emergent Threat, Training, and Readiness Capability (ET2RC) contract at the Fort Knox, KY US Army Reserve (USAR) Mission Training Complex (MTC). This is a full-time position.

What You'll Do

The Military Planner represents the Fort Knox Mission Training Complex (MTC) interests and efforts in the planning and execution of designated U.S. Army Reserve, V Corps, and First Army training exercises and Culminating Training Events. He/she prepares for and executes the exercise Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process including Concept Development Workshops (CDW), Initial/Main/Final event planning (I/M/FEP) meetings, in-progress reviews, and technical integration working groups. He/she coordinates amongst MTC staff (technical, training, facility, logistics, and security), Training Divisions, Rotational Training Units, and other exercise planners to determine and fulfill all exercise requirements. He/she coordinates and develops after-action reports (AARs) as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Possess 12 years of experience with training U.S. Army Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support organizations.
  • Experience with military exercise design and development.
  • Experience with training Army units in command and staff environments at Battalion and Brigade levels.
  • Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS).
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and regulations involved in supporting military operations.
  • Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Possess Active U.S. Secret security clearance

Additional Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience as an Exercise Planning Officer, Observer Coach/Trainer (OC/T), Simulation Operations Officer FA57 or CP36, Army Planner FA59, Battle Staff NCO, or Digital Master Gunner.
  • Experience working as a member of a Battalion or higher headquarters staff.
  • Experience with the Army Training Management System (ATMS) and its components, Army Training Network (ATN), Unit Training Management (UTM), Digital Training Management System (DTMS), and Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS).
