Army Installation Management Command Bartender NA-03 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Summary This position is at Pershing Community Center, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Responsibilities Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Routine work performed without close supervision. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Identifies intoxicated and unruly patrons, resolves the problem or seeks assistance. Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Stands for prolonged periods. Exposed to cuts and bruises. Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must: Meet state/local age requirements (21) for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and/or previous bartending experience. If providing a resume, the information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
