As the Accounting Clerk III (AMMO) for the Ammunition Supply Point the responsibilities are reviews unit paperwork for accuracy and compliance with existing regulation . Accesses the Training Ammunition Management Information (TAMIS) website to process requests for issue. Reviews and maintains files for delegation of authority (DA Form 1687) and historical files of DA Form 581’s. Reconcile documents in the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), perform final quality control (QC) checks on all reconciled DA Form 581. Prepare and maintain delinquent document list, answering multi-line phone, support customer service counter, requires an understanding of terminology of the office unit. Works closely Administrative Office (Lead) to ensure document control, issue, turn-in process flow.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Process ammunition request in TAMIS.
Assist with clerical tasks to support customer service counter, which includes maintaining accurate filing systems.
Process DA Form 581 for issue/turn-in and perform initial document reconciliation. Provide customer clear instruction on steps to resolve residue shortages.
Assist with scheduling customer units for ammunition issues and turn-in in accordance with operational priorities.
Preform final (QC) check on all documents processed.
Prepare and maintain delinquent document list.
Assists in taking inventories through physical count and records item count on inventory documents.
Responsible for support of Deployment Readiness Exercises (DRE)/Global Response Force (GRF) Missions
Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 45 pounds without assistance and a minimum of 10lbs.
Must be able to operate in a prolonged sitting or standing environment.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites at times in the performance of duties.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face mask (covering nose and mouth), hand, foot, and head gear, to include a safety vest.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass both federal and local background check to have unaccompanied access to arms, ammunition and explosives.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must have a valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of related experience working in an office environment.
Experience working in an Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) preferred.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
