Teksouth is seeking a skilled Power Platform Innovator for on-site analytics support in Fort Liberty, NC.

Teksouth is seeking a candidate interested in continued growth in the emerging technology of Power Platform product solutions. As the Power Platform is a more recent addition to Microsoft technologies, we are willing to consider applicants with a broad range of technical and/or functional backgrounds in lieu of direct years of experience with Power Platform solution development.

In this role specifically, the Power Platform Innovator is responsible for architecture, design, and implementation of best-in-class business intelligence reporting / visualizations via Power BI. Innovators operate at the intersection of business, analytics, and design. You will collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders and system owners for building comprehensive and complex data visualizations This role requires understanding and shaping of business requirements to design, develop, and implement visual analytics solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop Power App solutions for government and commercial customers in a fast-paced environment.

• Database development and maintenance for governmental and commercial customers.

• Collaborate with customers to define their needs and conduct external research to support projects.

• Participate in meetings, task groups, teams, reviews, and other environments to assist in collaborative solutions.

• Review project deliverables for quality, completeness, and adherence to applicable regulations, customer requirements, and Teksouth standards.

• Engage with stakeholders on agile prototyping to demonstrate the art of the possible and find creative solutions for complex business use cases.

• Contribute to iterative review of Power Platform products, documenting feedback and following up on action items during product development.

• Generate related solution documentation and Power BI dashboards.

• Conduct training on Teksouth-developed products related to customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant professional experience

• Must have a Secret security clearance.

• Basic database development knowledge with at least one database platform (e.g., Dataverse, MS Access, SQL, etc.)

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming, functional, and/or query language (e.g., Power FX, PQFL, SQL, DAX, VBA, etc.) in a professional or academic environment.

• Working knowledge with 2 or more of the following Power Platform technologies:

• Power Apps

• Power Automate

• Power BI

• SharePoint

• Microsoft Excel Power User; advanced proficiency with functions

• Possess a customer-centric attitude with excellent communication skills, strong personal integrity, and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to acquire Power Platform Fundamentals Microsoft Certification within 90 days of hiring.

• Ongoing commitment to learning the latest innovations; both via formal training and self-guided research.

Nice-to-Have:

• Building Model-Driven Power Apps

• Dataverse knowledge

• Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, or business process flows.

• Custom connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate

• Software development knowledge ASP, .NET, Java, etc.

• General web technologies including HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

• An eye for clean, easy-to-use, UI/UX implementations.

• Familiarity with generating documentation of solutions, processes, and checklists

• Familiarity with DoD/Army Financial Management processes and data
