Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer/Lab Manager, Senior, to join our team in Ft. Meade , MD .

In this role, you will analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a wide range of Linux services to include: Apache, Radius, TACACS, NIS, DNS, Syslog, Netbackup, LDAP, iptables (firewall) and NTP.

• ManageVMWARE ESXi 6.5 cluster using Vcenter running on Cisco UCS blade servers.

• Manage NetApp storage system running clustered data on tap with over 500 terabytes of space.

• Keep all devices patched in accordance with SSP security standards.

• Modify the configuration of Cisco networking devices.

• Ability to be responsible for 400+ servers in a test environment running a wide variety of Operating Systems to include Windows, Red Hat Linux, CentOS, Fedora Core, BSD, Solaris and Debian.

• Manages the project work as defined by the government.

• Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects.

• Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.

Basic Qualifications :

• Shall have a minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security+ CE or CCNA certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
