United States Fleet Forces Command OPERATIONS SECURITY (OPSEC) PROGRAM MANAGER in Fort Meade Naval Facilities, Maryland

Summary You will serve as a Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Manager GG-0301-12 with responsibility to oversee, manage, and maintain an effective OPSEC Program that is incorporated into all operations and activities that ensures coordination between public affair, cybersecurity, security, operations, acquisition, intelligence and training to protect critical information to prevent adversaries and/or potential adversaries from determining friendly intentions or capabilities. Responsibilities You will publish and maintain the command's Operations Security (OPSEC) plan, policies and instructions, ensuring compliance and oversight within the entire domain. You will organize and lead and effective command Operations Security (OPSEC) Working Group (WG and command OPSEC team to review OPSEC materials, evaluate program progress, and recommendations for program improvement. You will develop and maintain the Commander's approval on Command's Critical Information list (CIL) and ensure Command's Critical Information lists (CILs) are posted appropriately throughout the command spaces. You will ensure the OPSEC program identifies vulnerabilities and allots and employs resources to ensure OPSEC measures provide the appropriate level of protection for all applicable threats. You will conduct annual reviews of OPSEC training execution and compliance. You will advise the Commander on OPSEC vulnerabilities, requirements, and policy updates. You will coordinate the development of OPSEC related portions of operations plans, orders, investigations and inspections. Incorporate OPSEC into exercises. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Developing, communicating, and implementing OPSEC policies, instructions and procedures for the organization. 2. Publishing and maintaining the organizations OPSEC plan. 3. Identifying OPSEC vulnerabilities and correspondingly allots/employs resources to ensure OPSEC measures provide the appropriate level of protection for all applicable threats. 4. Conducting annual reviews of OPSEC policies/procedures to improve the organizations overall force protection program.
