Building Automation Sales Engineer Development ProgramCM3 Building Solutions, a member of Daikin Group, has an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in joining our Building Automation Sales Engineer Development Program. As a member of the program, you’ll receive rotational training encompassing all facets of building technology solutions, including building automation, optimization, energy, security, HVAC, and communications. You’ll be partnered with highly experienced managers, engineers, project managers, and salespeople for each segment of the rotation. The program will also contain training on sales methodologies, processes, and techniques. This is an incredible opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn all aspects of the building solutions business, eventually focusing on building automation sales as a Building Automation Sales Engineer.As a Building Automation Sales Engineer, you will support other sales team members in working with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Facility Manager,s and Building Owners to deploy, maintain and enhance systems that control heating, air conditioning, and even lighting systems within the building to deliver higher levels of energy efficiency and occupant comfort.At the conclusion of the rotational training program, each Building Automation Sales Engineer will provide inside sales support for the organization as they eventually transition to outside sales.Essential Functions:Review construction plans & specifications, perform take-offs, and bid projects using the complete breadth of CM3 Building Solutions offerings.Generate estimates and proposalsSupport consulting engineers in system designs, driving specifications toward CM3’s portfolio of project offerings.Perform Lunch & Learns for consulting engineersParticipating in Sales eventsDevelop long-term relationships and build partnerships with customersUse Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for maintaining sales pipeline and customer activityAssist business in meeting annual sales and gross margin targetsProvide customers with superior value and serviceCollaborate with internal staff to deliver quality resultsEducation/ExperienceFour-year Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems, Industrial, Chemical, or Architectural)Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)Criminal Background Check, PA Child Welfare, and FBI fingerprinting clearance required; other clearances as required by state/districts of job sitesDMV checkPre-employment drug screening and random drug testing during employmentAAP/EEO StatementCM3 Building Solutions, Inc. is an affirmative action employer and does not consider disability, color, gender identity, genetic information, military or veteran status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age 40 and over, or any other applicable status protected by state or local law, in any employment decision.
