What You Will Be Doing

As the F-35 Project Engineering Senior Manager you will be responsible for

providing comprehensive, integrated, and

executable engineering solutions supporting all

engineering product teams and Program

Managers across the F-35 portfolio; coordinating

with cross functional teams to ensure talent is

aligned to the work and guided to resolve

critical/complex technical issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Key capabilities for this position include depth of

experience with Vehicle Systems, Combat Systems, Sustainment, Systems Engineering and

Safety and the ability to mentor a large team of

Project Engineers and lead change through

application of Full Spectrum Leadership. This is essential toward ensuring a sound technical

solution is developed and delivered in alignment with program constraints.

• This role will work closely with the cross functional teams to execute dynamic projects in alignment with program cost and schedule commitments.

• Additionally, meeting/exceeding program performance goals, developing and delivering

program status and performance briefings, and presenting to senior internal management and customers as needed.

• This is a senior leadership position and will be a key member of the F-35 Project Engineering

team and as such must ensure effective collaborating across the F-35 teams to build consensus and comprehensive solutions to meet tactical and strategic goals.

Must be an U.S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. On site work and periodic travel is required

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in

Engineering, or a related STEM field

• 15 Years or more experience in Subsystem

development, production, and/or sustainment.

• Experience leading multi-disciplined engineering team through a vehicle development program, including responsibility for program performance, cost, schedule and engineering product quality.

• Exceptional Technical Leadership experience

• Experience with U.S. and international

customers and supplier relationship

Desired Skills:

• 15 Years or more experience in Subsystem

development, production, and sustainment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

with experience engaging and presenting in

executive level meeting

• Strong organizational, planning and time

management skills.

• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate

team in technical and leadership development.

• Strong presentation skills and ability to address

complex matters / solutions with senior

leadership.

• Ability to Travel

• Ability to obtain SAP clearance

• Full Spectrum Leadership Skill

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
