Aerotek MIG Welder in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Title: MIG Welder on 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking skilled MIG Welders proficient in using .035 hard wire for welding thin gauge steel from 1/8" to 1/2" inch, with special projects requiring up to 1" thick steel. Candidates must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints, recognize welding symbols, and independently set up their welding machines. Successful applicants will demonstrate the capability to fit-up their own parts using fixtures and produce welds that are clean, smooth, and free of sharp edges.

Hard Skills

  • MIG Welding using .035 Hard Wire

  • Blueprint Reading

Soft Skills

  • Ability to fit-up parts using fixtures

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 180 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Worth, Texas.

Work Environment

Our weld / paint shop consists of 120 employees, including 80 welders. Facilities include a Paint Booth and multiple weld stations. We engage in significant projects for the government/military and the oil/gas industry.
