Work hours: Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

Education

· Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred), Information Technology, or related field. Or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree (Required) And

· Registered Nurse Nursing Diploma (Preferred)

​​​​​​Experience

  • 4 years relevant work experience in Women's Services (L&D, NICU, Mother-Baby, etc.) with a Bachelor's degree (Required) Or,

  • 4 years relevant work experience with application support in a healthcare setting with a Bachelor's degree (Required)

​​​​ Skills

  • Strong understanding of GE CPN, GE Connect, and Timeless MOMS programs or similar healthcare technology solutions.-

  • Proven experience with clinical information systems, including EHR platforms such as Epic

  • Strong understanding of nursing workflows and processes.

  • Certification in clinical informatics or related field is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficient with Office365 applications.

  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and security best practices

What You Will Do

This role provides specialized technical support for Women's and Infants clinical applications. The analyst is responsible for system implementation, ongoing maintenance, testing, and other support of perinatal clinical applications and related information technologies. Applications include but are not limited to GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN), CPN Connect, Timeless Mother's Own Milk System, Pediatrix BabySteps, and any successor applications. This role relies heavily on knowledge & understanding of nursing clinical workflows and Epic documentation. Other duties may be assigned to support department operations.

  • System Integration & Troubleshooting: Assist in the implementation, configuration, and integration of GE CPN, GE Connect, Timeless MOMS, and Pediatrix BabySteps programs within the hospital's existing technology infrastructure. Build of applications as needed to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated applications and systems. Diagnosis of failures encountered in software and related technologies. Participate in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on program usage, performance, and any identified areas for improvement.

  • Clinical Expertise: Leverage clinical expertise to provide clinical input, at the elbow support, and insights for GE CPN, GE Connect, and Timeless MOMS programs. Collaborate with IT Team to ensure these programs meet the clinical needs and requirements of healthcare providers and patients.

  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with clinical teams, IT Personnel, and vendors to identify and implement enhancements to the programs based on user feedback and industry best practices. Coordinates new user applications training for assigned entities, departments, or service lines.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that the users of supported applications comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in audits and assessments to verify compliance with hospital policies. Comply with THR Security, ITS, and ITIL standards.
