Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry, based in FRANKFORT, Illinois. This role involves a high level of customer service and account management, requiring strong computer skills and telephone skills. The position demands a high level of attention to detail, the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to manage multiple customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a floater between territories, managing specific areas strategically

• Provide strong customer service and account management

• Utilize strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and any mainframe system use

• Handle an average of 30-40 calls per day, coordinating shipping, entering orders, and managing emails from different sales reps

• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all tasks

• Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Multitask effectively, managing 200+ customer accounts

• Leverage a manufacturing background, with preferred experience in SAP, logistics, and import/export/international shipping

• Build relationships with clients and sales reps to ensure smooth operation of territories.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry

• Proven record of successfully managing customer accounts

• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively

• Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software

• Ability to analyze sales statistics and identify areas of improvement

• Strong problem-solving skills to address client issues and ensure their satisfaction

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
