API Heat Transfer Material Handler in Franklin, Wisconsin

What You Will Do:
The Material Handler will participate in all warehouse activities and receive and process stock according to standard operating procedures.
Help drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals
Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
Assist with inventory counts and planning
Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ensure materials or containers are moved.
Opens containers.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys the load to its destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move it to its destination.
Counts, weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
To facilitate the movement of materials or products, clamp sections of a portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes.
Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to the laboratory for analysis.
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
Make simple adjustments or repairs like realigning belts or replacing rollers.
Assemble crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles.
What You Bring:
High school diploma; Associates degree preferred
At least two years of previous warehouse experience
Forklift certification and reach truck driving experience preferred
Solution focused and process improvement driven
Proven ability to develop relationships with internal partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Bonus points if you bring experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement
