Job Title: Stationary Engineer
Job Description
As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of boilers, chillers, chilled and hot water systems and all associated equipment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 4pm-12am. Your essential duties include operating High Temp - Hot Water generators, chillers and cooling towers, maintaining and operating other electrical, mechanical, and ventilation systems, making daily visual safety inspections, distinguishing problems and anomalies from normal operating parameters, maintaining records of fuel consumption, maintenance services, repairs, and supplies, and observing water level, pressures and temperatures to adjust equipment to ensure safe and constant operation.
Hard Skills
Operate High Temp - Hot Water generators
Operate and maintain chillers and cooling towers
Operate and maintain other electrical, mechanical, and ventilation systems
Make daily visual safety inspections
Maintain records of fuel consumption, maintenance services, repairs, and supplies
Observe water level, pressures and temperatures
Soft Skills
Ability to distinguish problems and anomalies from normal operating parameters
Able to make minor repairs of a mechanical nature
Adequate sight, hearing and speaking capabilities to maintain a safe working condition
Ability to distinguish wire colors and component color codes
Work Site
- This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.
