Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Logistics Specialist responsible for managing all logistical components, including transportation booking, freight collection and delivery. You will be tasked with preparing paperwork for international freight and bills of ladings. This position also requires oversight of domestic and international shipments and inventory control. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, particularly with large industrial/expensive equipment and should be familiar with international shipping and transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP systems. As we work with potentially dangerous raw powders, DOT/IATA certifications are a must.

Hard Skills

  • International Shipping

  • Booking trucks and freight forwarders

  • Preparing paperwork for international freight

  • Preparing bill of ladings

  • Lean manufacturing experience

  • Receiving/Shipping/Inventory control

  • Experience with multilevel BOM's

  • Prep and oversight of domestic and international shipments

  • Forklift experience

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Ability to handle and resolve arising issues swiftly

This is a fully on-site position in Fremont, California.
