Job Description
Day to Day:
The Robotics Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing robotic experiments. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, test, and deploy robotics solutions in real-world applications.
Responsibilities
* Run robot experiments on physical robot
* Run robot experiments on fair cluster
* Lab tools order and setup
* Develop and maintain robot software stack
* Participate in regular team meetings, presenting software designs and updates.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* Experience working within Linux, using Linux command lines, and operating within Linux terminals. This person needs to be very comfortable with Linux.
* Basic IP networking concepts. Knows how to measure bandwidth, latency, and firewalls.
* Familiar with Python / C++ / Javascript
* Proficient in ROS (both ROS1 and ROS2) and familiar with its ecosystem and tools.
* Knowledge of robot hardware, sensors, and actuators.
* Familiarity with modern version control tools, especially git. Plusses:
* Experience training and deploying deep learning models
* Familiar with Github workflow
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for robotics.
* Experience with Pytorch null
