Fast growing pre-IPO high tech manufacturer is looking for a VP Corporate Controller. We are growing and looking for hands-on controller that help us to scale our global business.

As a VP Corporate Controller, you will be an important contributor for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise, improvement of financial processes, and development of a high performing accounting team.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Accounting (close) transformation journey to enable operational excellence and scale, by leading automation, integration, and change management efforts; implementing change and creating programs to increase efficiency and accountability both within accounting and cross-functionally

  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports/statements

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, etc.

  • Responsible for setting and maintaining accounting policies and practices, technical accounting, maintenance of related fiscal records, preparation of internal financial reports and analysis, and will be a strong project manager and leader with a demonstrated history of implementing positive change and improvement

  • Interpretation, review, and implementation of existing and new accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance with US GAAP

  • Manage the relationship with external auditors and own the successful completion of the year-end audit and quarterly reviews

  • Oversee global consolidation process

  • Support the implementation of internal control processes

qualifications:

Requirements:

BS degree

CPA with 15+ years of public accounting and industry experience

Experience with public accounting a huge plus

skills: Consolidations, Month-End Close
