Job Title: CNC Operator - $19/hr!
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to operate and maintain various machines, including CNC machines, lathe machines, and grinder machines. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn forklift and equipment handling for future growth opportunities. Responsibilities include minor troubleshooting, machine setup, and part changeouts. The role also involves learning to program CNC machinery and using multiple machine tools such as grinders, cutters, and milling machines. Additionally, the candidate will develop the ability to read blueprints and sheets.
Responsibilities
Operate different machines such as CNC machines, lathe machines, and grinder machines.
Perform minor troubleshooting on machinery.
Set up machines and change out parts as needed.
Learn to program some CNC machinery.
Use multiple machine tools such as grinders, cutters, and milling machines.
Develop the ability to read blueprints and sheets.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of CNC machine operating experience.
Experience with CNC setup.
Proficiency with mill and lathe machines.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to learn new skills.
Experience with general labor tasks.
Familiarity with using calipers.

Work Environment
This role involves working with older, more mechanical machinery in a non-climate controlled environment. The position is on the 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am, with training on the 1st shift for the first 2 weeks. Overtime is required two Saturdays a month, and business typically slows down around September.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.10 - $19.10/hr.
