Description We are offering an opportunity for a Patient Registration Representative role in the Healthcare/NHS sector. Based in French Camp, California, this role involves handling patient registration and insurance verification processes in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients or their relatives to gather necessary information, ensuring all details are entered accurately into the hospital system

• Screen all provided material for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all patient details are correctly recorded

• Match account numbers with financial codes and verify insurance or Medi-cal coverage, ensuring patients' coverage details are up-to-date

• Check and validate insurance ID cards and Medi-cal labels, ensuring accurate record-keeping

• Explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to patient registration to patients, ensuring they understand the hospital's processes

• Direct patients to the appropriate office, clinic, or treatment facility center for services, providing clear guidance and assistance

• Maintain a system of clinic appointments, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling

• Use skills in Patient Eligibility, Insurance Verifications, and Medical Insurance Verification to execute tasks effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in patient eligibility assessment

• Proven experience in insurance verifications

• Strong background in medical insurance verification

• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and practices

• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environment and demands

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare management systems

• Commitment to providing high-quality customer service to patients

• Prior work experience in an NHS or healthcare setting would be advantageous

• Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
