Description
Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to find a talented Human Resources Generalist for a contract-to-hire position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic organization while gaining long-term career security.
Expectations include but are not limited to the following:
Administer full-cycle HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
Partner with department managers to address workforce needs, including recruitment, workforce development, and employee relations issues.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, and EEO requirements).
Manage payroll workflows for hourly and salaried employees, including timecard tracking for non-exempt employees.
Support performance management strategies, provide coaching to leaders and employees, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Update and maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data.
Serve as a direct point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing, logistics, or production industries.
Broad knowledge of HR functions, including legal compliance, benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using HRIS platforms and recruiting tools. Experience with Workday is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
