Job Title: 2nd Shift Machinist
Job Description
Join our team at a large aerospace manufacturer as a 2nd Shift Machinist. The role requires operating a variety of machines including 5 Axis Milling Machines, CNC Vertical Mills, and conventional machines such as lathes and mills. You will be responsible for setting up and operating these machines to cut and shape metal to precise dimensions. This position not only demands high efficiency and quality workmanship but also offers the potential to lead the department if you possess the necessary experience.
Hard Skills
CNC Machining (5 Axis Milling Machines)
Experience with Various Types of Alloys
Proficient with Mori Seiki 5 Axis, HAAS 4-Axis, Mazak 4-Axis
Ability to set up and operate machines

Work Environment
This position is based in a dynamic machine shop environment at a large aerospace manufacturer. You will work among various CNC lathes and mills as well as conventional machines. The work hours are for the 2nd shift, starting between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM for 8-hour shifts, with overtime available.
