Adecco US, Inc. Controls Engineer in Fulton, New York

Ensuring the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization's business processes to ensure customer satisfaction (internal and external); support non-conformity reporting and continuous improvement. Leads project teams in the design and development of all aspects of controls, equipment, and machine automation. Drives the technical strategy and controls architecture for the engineering department with the goal of providing cost effective and efficient control systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Function independently and lead efforts as subject matter expert in multiple competencies.

  • Sets overall project approach/guidance and designs control systems for continuous web handling machinery to the sold specifications with focus on the most complex projects.

  • Provide direction for project team members in the design of hardware/software related tasks.

  • Schedule and lead the review of the mechanical, electrical and process design to ensure it meets technical, commercial and customer requirements.

  • Accountable for leading engineering standardization initiatives, design for manufacturing, and best practice efforts on all projects assigned.

  • Proactively take steps to support the growth and success of engineers and other employees within the organization, including training, technical direction, and opportunities to demonstrate capabilities.

  • Provide support for assembly, purchasing, field service and guidance to proposal and product management.

  • Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in customer interface meetings.

  • Lead and actively participate in project design reviews, production and project planning meetings.

  • Travel for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-up's as required.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering preferred.

  • A minimum of 8+ years of controls and electrical systems design experience with industrial automation.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate goals effectively with cross-functional groups and lead multiple, complex projects and teams.

  • Extensive experience with Rockwell and Siemens controls and drive systems.

  • HMI programming experience using Factory Talk View, Wonderware or other SCADA systems. Ability to use in practice to support commissioning and start-up.

  • Experience designing and specifying systems to meet NFPA, UL, CSA and CE conformance. Strong knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.

  • Demonstrate understanding of personnel impact to Davis-Standard business values and goals.

Compensation: Sr. Controls Engineer: $95k to $100k

Jr. Controls Engineer: $70k

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
