Lawn Care Specialist Responsibilities:
- Communicating with the Owner and identifying yard maintenance needs.
- Training and overseeing duties of lawncare assistant.
- Lawn maintenance and trimming hedges and trees.
- Collecting debris (yard clippings, leaves, small branches, trash on grass, etc.)
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as lawnmowers, weed whips, blowers, and trimmers.
- Ability to drive a truck and haul a trailer.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Lawn Care Specialist Requirements:
- Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Courses in landscaping, horticulture, or related field may be advantageous.
- Experience in lawn care and maintenance.
- Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
- Manual agility, physical strength, and stamina.
- Attention to individual and team safety.
- Attention to customer property and avoiding damage.
- Willingness to learn additional skills.
- OSHA certification or solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
