Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and five years related experience or a double Master’s with a degree in computer science and one year’s related experience
Job Summary:
To provide the technical expertise required to support and advance application and system software functions of the computer installation at the decision-making level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant UTMB Software and Finance experience highly desirable.
Job Duties:
• Directs the generation and maintenance of the installations of software systems.
• Conducts studies of projected enhancements in hardware and software.
• Presents recommendations to management.
• Supervises performance measurements and evaluation of the computer systems.
• Determines and directs performance improvement activities.
• Plans and supervises training of systems software personnel.
• Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
• Performs related duties as required.
Work Schedule:
Causal appointment, 19.99 hours a week or less, non-benefit bearing.
