The Senior Category Compliance & Intelligence Lead (CC&I Lead) will be responsible for delivering value by providing leadership in the development of the HID Global Supply Chain, including oversight for Compliance; C of C, Payment Terms, Supplier Count and Cost Development. In addition, Cost Analytics focused on variance management, and supporting Product Cost analytics development will ensure this role remains relevant to all key Global Sourcing actions. As a key member of the Global Supplier Management team, the CC&I Lead is responsible for facilitating the development of workforce liberation initiatives (process automation) with peers in Indirect, Planning, Advance Sourcing and Industrialisation.

This high visibility role offers significant scope and opportunities for the right candidate with a clear path to Category or Commodity Manager roles in the future.

As our Category Compliance and Intelligence Lead , you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Being responsible for the identification of Global Supplier Management compliance risks and the development of mitigation actions working with Group Legal to establish and implement improvements.

  • Supporting the development and execution of the Category and Commodity Management strategy for Group Sourcing.

  • Through facilitation of cross-functional teams, evolving Strategic Sourcing methodologies for selection of preferred suppliers from the HID Supplier Assessment/Selection process as required.

  • Being responsible for the development of Category and Commodity reporting through tools such as Tableau.

  • Generating cost savings from workforce liberation initiatives.

  • Working with management and key stakeholders to design and develop reporting models using MI tools; including forecasted spend, savings and performance goals.

  • Supporting the development of data and analytics associated with Supplier selection and Segmentation to aid informed decisions.

  • Having experience in developing and maintaining data warehouse environments.

  • Working closely with HID Category & Commodity Managers to successfully leverage consolidated spend and de-risk the Supply Chain for assigned Categories.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Actively monitoring the market for intelligence and business trends and benchmark against best practices.

    What we will love about your background:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP programs preferred

  • Familiarity with Agile PLM is preferred

  • Adept in analysis and formal presentation of complex data; Alteryx & Tableau capabilities are desirable however alternative analytics platforms will be considered.

  • Proficiency in data presentation to an audience, to illustrate and communicate key points and articulate ideas in a clear, concise and persuasive manner.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of NPI/Product launch Processes & Tools (HID PIP or equivalent).

  • Must be familiar with Electronics Manufacturing.

  • Experience working in cross functional teams across global boundaries.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain with minimum 5 to 8 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years Purchasing/Sourcing/Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow-up and follow through is expected.

  • Alteryx & Tableau capabilities are desirable.
