v2soft Maintenance Technician in Georgetown, Kentucky
Role & Responsibilities:•Assist in standard work document creation and confirm accuracy of existing documentation•Perform hemming quality analysis and work with others to execute resulting countermeasure activity to ensure quality targets are met•Ensure the quality and accuracy of hem dies and equipment being built by North American vendors•Complete hem die functionality confirmation tuning and repair, including welding, grinding and polishing•Perform quality repeat activity for hemming equipment and dies •Analyze body panels for surface quality defects•Participate in equipment design review for new/refurbished equipment•Support vehicle sub-assembly measurement during trials using digital tools and hand measurement tools•Support to investigate and countermeasure mass production problems.•Support panel modification and jig screw activity for CV/Goshi trials•Support standard work creation and training tools for use internally Required Skills:•2-year technical degree in a relevant field or 3 years of experience in stamping in the role of a tool & die maker or maintenance technician•Proficient in Microsoft Office•Willingness to work hands-on including welding, grinding, polishing, body panel modification, and body panel measurement
