Responsibilities
Program and optimize CNC machining operations using Mastercam and PartMaker software for turning, live milling, and Swiss-type machining processes.
Develop and maintain CNC programs for HAAS turning equipment, ensuring precise adherence to tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0005".
Collaborate closely with the machining team to understand project requirements, interpret engineering drawings, and translate them into efficient CNC programs.
Perform setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of CNC machines, including the Citizen L20 VIII Swiss-type lathe, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Continuously improve programming techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology and software.
Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of CNC programs and related files.
Provide training and support to machine operators and other team members as needed.
