Operations Manager- Assembly

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Operations Manager - Assembly at our site in Gilbert, AZ!

As our Operations Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day production requirements including resource scheduling, daily tier meetings, managing WIP, and daily throughput. This role also includes working closely with the functional organizations to ensure daily production goals and key metrics are achieved. You be responsible for managing 20+ direct employees on one shift.

Your Challenge:

  • Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Receives assignments in the form of goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers of one of the following functional areas: materials, quality, engineering, and account management.

  • Involved in translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.

  • May develop operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

  • 5 to 10 yrs. experience in a related field

  • Previous employee management experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office. Strong initiative & leadership, analytical problem solving, lean manufacturing background and applicable process experience
