Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team in the manufacturing industry as an Administrative Assistant, based in Girard, Ohio. This role primarily involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with employee onboarding, budget preparation, and overseeing office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry into the system for tracking employee vacation times.

• Ensuring confidentiality and controlling access to sensitive information such as staff and client personnel files.

• Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees and answering any related queries.

• Assisting in budget preparation by gathering historical data in areas such as materials and supplies or salaries.

• Tracking and monitoring assigned budget expenditures and reporting on variances.

• Coordinating the preparation, development, and production of major documents such as proposals and manuscripts.

• Overseeing daily office operations to ensure efficiency.

• Purchasing necessary supplies for the office and issuing purchase orders.

• Utilizing basic office skills and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

• Conducting data entry tasks as required.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Candidate must possess basic office skills, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, typing, and answering phones.

• Proficiency in data entry is required. The candidate should be able to input various data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.

• Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and regulations is necessary. The candidate should be able to ensure compliance with these standards in the workplace.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. The candidate should be familiar with the procedures and safety regulations typical of a manufacturing environment.

• The candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills are required. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary.

• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are essential. The candidate should be able to identify problems and develop effective solutions.

• Attention to detail is crucial. The candidate should be able to produce accurate and high-quality work.
