Job Description

Team/Segment: Disney Studios, Studio Production Technology Engineering. This group manages a large SRE group that spans across the Studio Technology groups. Looking to hire 4 SREs.

1: SRE - will be embedded within their Data Services Group

2 SRE - will be embedded within their Motion Pictures Labs group

1 SRE - will be embedded withing their Media Platforms Engineering group

Looking to hire senior level SRE's, strong coding/automation/infrastructure as code.

One round technical interview with team leads and hiring leaders.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong knowledge in system management languages - Terraform

• Multiple scripting languages in your toolbox - Python and/or Golang

• Emerging containerization - Kubernetes(EKS)

• Skilled in Cloud/PaaS Environments, heavy AWS(85% of environment), some Azure; focus is AWS

• CI experience with: continuous integration tools - Jenkins and/or Bamboo

• UNIX/Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, & security

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Embodies a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering culture with continuous delivery, cloud, as and fully automated infrastructure as code

• BS Computer Science or related field

• Role is a hybrid position but will accept a remote candidate. However, if a full time opportunity arises, they may not be considered for the position due to them being remote. Must work PST time zone - Media and Entertainment/Studio Industry experience null
