JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to manage and lead the Project Management Team and provide multi-level support to the account Director’s leadership in the provision of strategic and governance oversight and accountability to organizational multi-year, multi-phased initiatives for case validation, roadmap development, and capital and expense tracking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support efforts, initiatives, programs, and teams as needed by the Account Director.

· Assigned projects or tasks can include defining and leading cross team project scopes, plans, and resources as well as its administrative work.

· Support defining or assisting in business analysis, assembling cross functional teams, and leading resources, documentation, costs, quality and risk.

· Supervise and lead all aspects of construction or other projects while performing design optimization through value engineering whenever possible.

· Assists daily execution of project and initiative implementation, documentation, updates, and adjustments as needed.

· Drives the identification of organizational change management impact.

· Provides oversight of execution activities to ensure adoption and adherence.

· Facilitates requirements gathering and assists with the creation of project deliverables.

· Financial budget ownership to deliver within defined financial constraints.

· Leads project delivery resources and teams providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals as needed.

· Creates policies, procedures, and processes relating to initiatives and client needs while developing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), Metrics, and BRs (Business Reviews).

· Domestic or international travel up to 20%.

· Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Provides formal supervision assistance, such as technical guidance and/or training, to coworkers in project management. Leads project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of various levels of employees. Leads by example and models’ behaviors that are ethical and consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information in writing, in a white paper or summarized form, or through a live presentation to large groups. Ability to adapt to new software and IT systems rapidly.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in either Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or training.

Previous Project Manager experience and/or business analysis work experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Certification(s) in PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, MS Project and Project Server.

Exercise project leadership skills combined with strong intuition for business and in-depth analytical skills.

Able to work well under pressure with a proactive approach including handling multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

Equal Pay Disclosure

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Project Manager position is $135,000 annually [or $64.90 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Senior Project Manager position is $150,000 annually [or $72.12 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
