Position Title: Line Cook

Positions Available: Nine (9), full-time and temporary

Location of Employment: 903 W Agate Ave, Granby, CO 80446 (Grand County)

Position Duties: Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurant. May order supplies, keep records and accounts, price items on menu, or plan menu.

Rate of Pay: $18.11 - $22.00/hour (The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the US Dept of Labor.) Tipped position with guaranteed base wage of $18.11 - $22.00 per hour. Employee may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary bonus.

Hours per Week: 40 (OT is possible, to be paid at $27.17 - $33.00/hour)

Start Date: 10/01/2024 End Date: 05/15/2025

Work hours: 7:00AM - 3:00PM. Work schedule can vary and can include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Days off vary. Sample Shift: 7am - 3pm, 10am - 6pm, 3pm-11pm. Shift hours may vary.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid every week by check. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $50.00 per week. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $100.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer upon acceptance of housing or to be deducted from first pa

Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker's sole benefit, including but not limited to Health Insurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.

No min experience, education or training is required. On-the-job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, by check separate from payroll, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. In other words, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work by check separate from payroll. Upon completion of the work contract period, or where the employee is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
